Stainless Solenoid Valves

Miniature Direct Acting stainless steel solenoid valves sizes typically range from 1/8" to 1/2" thread and are the preferred choice of most food, oil and Gas industries looking for small compact, reduced cost and high pressure offering guaranteed On/Off control solutions up to 500 Bar as they do not require a differential pressure to operate. However in Direct Acting form will usually offer reduced flow capabilities compared to pressure assisted solenoid valves or larger more expensive sizes. 

Additional options such as ATEX Coil, Manual Over Ride, NPT Thread, UL and CSA and IP68 Approvals are common amongst higher quality manufacturers offering high quality cost effective long lasting solenoid valve solutions.

Standard Assisted Lift stainless steel solenoid valves sizes typically range from 3/8" to 2" thread or DN10 to DN 50 Flange and are the preferred choice of most food, oil and Gas industries looking for high flow, low pressure gravity fed, vacuum and close loop systems offering guaranteed On/Off control solutions to 10 Bar as they do not require a differential pressure to operate. However this will usually offer improved flow capabilities compared to miniature solenoid valves these are typically more expensive but retain the benefit of not requiring a differential pressure to operate. 

Additional options such as ATEX Coil, Manual Over Ride, NPT Thread, UL and CSA and IP68 Approvals are common amongst higher quality manufacturers offering high quality cost effective long lasting solenoid valve solutions.

Direct Acting 304 and 316 Stainless Steel Coaxial solenoid valves are available in 2/2 way or 3/2 way configurations sizes range from 1/8" to 2" Thread or flange connection, and offer the highest flow across the range of solenoid valves size for size due to their design. They are an ideal solution for high flow high pressure or temperature, Vacuum, aggressive or contaminated media and offer the fastest ON/OFF and bi-directional media control. Typical pressure ranges are from 0 to pressures exceeding 120 Bar with the Pneumatically externally piloted range topping 160 bar and typically with options for manual over ride and open / closed electrical position switches and manifold mounting systems.

Standard Servo /Pressure Assisted stainless steel solenoid valves sizes typically range from 3/8" to 2" thread or DN10 to DN 50 Flange and are the preferred choice of most food, oil and Gas industries looking for high flow, medium to high pressure and open to atmosphere systems offering On/Off control solutions up to 300 Bar, however they do require a minimum differential pressure to operate, usually 0.5 to 2 bar. However this will usually offer far improved flow capabilities compared to assisted lift solenoid valves these are typically less expensive than assisted lift or direct acting stainless steel solenoid valves of similar port size.

Large Servo Assisted and Direct Acting flanged stainless steel solenoid valves sizes typically range from DN50 to to DN 500 preferred choice of most large scale food, oil and Gas industries looking for very high flow, low to medium pressure systems offering On/Off control solutions up to 25 Bar.

These large stainless steel solenoid valves do not require pneumatic air supply and generally work faster than most electric / motorised ball, gate and globe valves. Typically stainless steel solenoid valves are available with a vast range of options such as ATEX, Manual Over Ride, Open and Closed Position Switches, Twin/ Double Coil Design and can be suitable for special application thick viscous contaminated and aggressive media.
