Z-Tide Valves Industrial Co Ltd have been engaging in various types of valve production for over 30 years. In the past, the companies business was concentrated at strong well established export customers with a strong focus on research and development.
At the start of 1991 specialist machinery and digital CNC machines were purchased and installed which have enabled Z Tide Valves to obtain very high levels of precise quality control through a well established foundation of valve manufacturing, quality machinery and expertise. With years of accumulated manufacturing experience from on site valve production, Z tide are able to continually cultivate their talents to achieve better performance through innovative design to exceed industrial demands.
It is Z-Tide expectation that industry may purchase the highest quality products at very competitive prices. At this present time Z Tide and Elite Line manufacture pressure sustaining valves, pressure reducing valves, pilot float valves, pump control valves, multi-function control valves, direct acting pressure control valves, water hammer arrestors, silent check valves and solenoid operated valves which have been acknowledged and patented worldwide.
Z-Tide success has been seen in fire protection systems, air-conditioning systems, water supply systems and many processing factories around the world.
The BF series multi function high flow axial control valves offer pressure reducing, pressure sustaining, pressure relief, level control and solenoid operation from a single main valve design by means of a sub base mounted controller or pilot regulator.
The Z Tide BF multifunctional valves are available in cast iron, epoxy coated ductile iron, 304 and 316 stainless steel construction with flanges PN16 or ANSI150Lb from 2" to 12" as standard with larger sizes up to DN1000 40" available upon request.
Special variants include a UL listed pressure reducing valve rated to 300psi in sizes 3" DN80 through to 8" DN200 for fire suppression systems and WRAS certified pressure reducing valves in stainless steel from DN50 to DN150. These axial high flow valves are complimented by WRAS approved direct operated pressure reducing valves in stainless steel CF8M, from 1/2" to 2" thread and DN15 to DN150 PN16 flange.
BFR Reducing Valves are designed to prevent pipeline and system damage due to system over pressure. Pressure reducing valves are installed in water and fluid supply pipelines and maintain a stable pre-set (manually adjustable) outlet pressure regardless of pressure changes at the valve inlet. Pressure gauge shows downstream reduced pressure.
BFS Sustaining valve (Back pressure valves) are utilised when installing process and water pipework systems. The pressure sustaining valve primarily maintains a pre-set (manually adjustable) upstream or back pressure regardless of down stream flow demands, keeping upstream pressures above pre-set minimum requirements so that other processing equipment is not starved. Pressure gauge shows sustained back pressure.
BFL Relief valve is deigned to stay closed until the system pressure reaches a set maximum pressure at which point the pressure relief valve it will open quickly instantly releasing the excess pressure downstream, when the system pressure drops below the valve pressure setting the BFL pressure relief valve will carefully close to protect the pipeline system from water hammer. Pressure gauge shows system pressure.
BFE Electric solenoid control ON/OFF or Open or Closed solenoid valve. This solenoid controlled valve utilises the system pressure differential to open or close the internal piston thus opening or closing the main solenoid valve. This differential pressure (difference between inlet and outlet pressure) must typically be a minimum of 0.3 Bar. This pressure difference is then controlled by the external pilot circuit solenoid control valve and can be over ridden into the open position by the manual over ride lever ball valve. When the pilot solenoid is de-energised and the control circuit closed, the back pressure causes the main valve piston to close and stay closed. When energised the pilot solenoid valve opens releasing the pilot pressure downstream this in turn allows the system pressure to open the main solenoid valve piston thus opening the solenoid valve and allowing flow of media.
BFF Float valve is designed to offer mechanical water level control for any water tank. Used in conjunction with a FBV float ball valve the tank water level can be maintained and adjusted mechanically simply by connecting the BFF to a mains water supply with outlet into tank and the float ball valve connected by a single pipe to the main valve pilot (typically 1/2" thread) as seen on top of cylindrical valve body.
when water level drops the float valve opens releasing water pressure from the main valve which in turn opens refilling the water tank. As water level rises the float ball valve closes and the back pressure causes the BFF valve to close.
2 pieces DN1000 (1 meter bore, DN1000 or 40") Ductile Iron epoxy coated BFR1000 water pressure reducing valves bound for the 2012 Egypt water project.
When installing a fresh water damn or building a water reservoir the increased height relates directly to the increase in water pressure. For example a water reservoir 100 meters high will generate 9.8 bar of water pressure, 200 meters will give 19.613 bar etc. It is a common problem that the height of the water reservoir or dam will generate excessively high water pressure and thus the water pressure will need to be reduced to a safe level whilst maintaining good flow.
The BFR pressure reducing valve is ideally suited to this application and is able to mechanically reduce the water pressure to a pre-set level without the need for any electrical supply or complicated pipework system. Additionally due to this valve design is can be easily adapted to be a DN1000 pressure relief valve, pilot float valve or pressure sustaining valve.
Water hammer arrestors are designed to absorb water hammer pressure surges caused by sudden changes in water demand generally caused by system pump activation or switch off and excessive water velocity changes due to demand or system valve operations. The AIT and AIF valves are fitted with an internal diaphragm that is pneumatically pressurised via an external valve to 10% above the maximum water system pressure. In this way the anti water hammer valve acts as a shock absorber.
Pressure gauge shows internal air pressure.
